Cooperative

Owned by the members it serves.

MamaSave savings run inside a registered cooperative structure — not an informal scheme.

Who runs the savings

MamaSave Eliozu Multipurpose Co-operative Society Limited (MamaSave Cooperative Ltd) operates the thrift savings scheme. It is member-owned, registered with the relevant cooperative registry, and signs the contracts with our settlement banks directly.

Who builds the technology

Pearl Systems Ltd is the parent technology company. It owns the MamaSave platform, intellectual property and brand, and licenses them to the cooperative.

Membership

Opening a MamaSave account enrols you as a cooperative member. Membership gives you access to the savings products, member credit and the community rotation schemes, under the cooperative's bye-laws.

Governance

The cooperative maintains its own records, holds general meetings in line with its bye-laws, and reconciles member balances against partner bank statements.
