Protection our members can verify.

This page is maintained by MamaSave to answer common security and privacy questions. It describes the controls we operate today — it is not a certification.

Settlement and custody

Member contributions settle through licensed partners — our partner CBN-licensed Bank and NIBSS rails. Contracts are held by the cooperative, not by individuals, and every movement of funds is reconciled against bank records.

Encryption and integrity

Transaction payloads are signed with HMAC-SHA512, traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS, and sensitive identifiers are encrypted at rest.

Identity verification

Members and circle organisers complete BVN and NIN verification before contributions move. Rotation payout order is fixed at circle creation and visible to every member.

Data privacy

We operate to NDPR standards. Member data is never sold. Access to production data is restricted, logged and reviewed.
